Description

The Parson Russell Terrier is a feisty and energetic terrier that was the original Fox Terrier of the 18th century. It was named after the Reverend John ”Jack” Russell, and the breed shares a common history with the Jack Russell Terrier until the early 1980s. The breed is predominantly white with black, tan, or tricolor markings, and the coat is either smooth or broken. Other traits include a square outline, a body that is as long as the tail, and a flat skull with lower set ears. They are known to be active and require vigorous exercise to ensure they do not become bored.
