Portuguese Pointer

Seated and standing side and front elevation drawings of the Portuguese Pointer dog breed
Description
Description

The Portuguese Pointer is among the best pointing bred around. It is enthusiastic in its activities and devoted to its master. The gun dog is native to Portugal, medium-size, and quite energetic with a short, coarse yellow, red, or light yellow coat. However, it lacks an undercoat. It can also be used as a sporting dog. The distinctive head gives it a square face, and the bright expression comes from its brown, large, and oval eyes, while the medium-size ears are set high, drop down, and showing alertness in the dog. The tail is normal length but usually thick at the base and hanging at rest.
