Description

High discipline is one of the chief characteristics of the Romanian Mioritic Shepherd Dog. Apart from that, he is also calm and well-mannered. Hence, a good herd and guard dog that forms strong bonds with the master easily. The dog originates from Romanian, mostly around the Carpathian mountains, with an imposing size and character. His rectangular body and straight legs give it a work-man-like shape, while the heavily boned body is covered with a double-layer of shaggy coat, which may be light grey, cream, or white. The tail is long and curls up at the end, while the ears may be cropped.
