Description
Description

Royal poinciana (Delonix regia) in a medium form develops as a broad tropical flowering tree with layered horizontal branches and finely divided foliage. The canopy retains the species’ characteristic umbrella-like geometry but at a more moderate scale, allowing branch structure and flower clusters to remain visually distinct. Brilliant red-orange blossoms emerge densely across the crown during flowering periods, contrasting strongly against the delicate green foliage.

Native to Madagascar, Delonix regia is adapted to dry tropical environments and intense sunlight exposure. In medium form, the tree emphasizes balanced canopy breadth, vivid flowering concentration, and soft tropical foliage texture while preserving the species’ flamboyant ornamental character.
