Sachin Tendulkar is a retired Indian international cricketer renowned for several things. He was formerly Indian national team captain and the best batsmen in cricket history, possessing the highest run-scorer in international cricket. Sachin won the 2011 World Cup and was the "Player of the Tournament" in the 2003 cricket edition. He is the only cricketer to pull off one hundred international centuries and the first player to score a double century as a batsman in One Day International (ODI) cricket. Like other distinguished Indian cricketers, he has earned awards like the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Arjuna, Padma Shri, Bharat Ratna, and two Padma Vibhushan besides admission into the famous International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket Hall of Fame.
