Description
Description

The Sloughi general appearance lacks exaggerations. It is a medium-large, short-haired, lean dog with a smooth coat and belongs to the Sighthound family. It has origins in North Africa, maintained most of its ancient characteristics, and is used for hunting game. These characteristics give it speed, agility to endure moving over a long distance. Though noble, it is somewhat aloof with strangers. The Sloughi has big dark eyes, a long head, dropped ears, a defined bone structure, strong, lean muscle, and a long tail carried low with an upward curve. This pursuit dog easily bonds with the pet parent.
