Description
Description

Native to Germany, the Small Münsterländer is bred as a hunting, pointing, and retrieving dog that is extremely versatile and capable of both land and sea hunts. In Central Europe, it is kept as a sporting dog. Its resemblance is somewhat of a setter and spaniel. The medium-sized dog has a strong and harmonious built, balanced proportion, distinguished head, powerful muscles, and kind, expressive eyes. The medium-length tail should be slightly wavy, fog-like with a solid white background and patches of brown. On the rear of the limbs are feathers, while the ears should be broad, high set, and lying close to the head.
