The Trilobite is a large, octopus-like alien creature that features in Ridley Scott’s 2012 film Prometheus.  It was created after Charlie Holloway was infected with a black liquid which he then passed onto Elizabeth Shaw when they had sex. When grown to full size, the Trilobite resembles a Facehugger, except with a greater number of tentacles. It finds a host by pulling people in with its tentacles and impregnating them with a feeding tube in the back of its mouth.
