Description
Description

A tripod turnstile is an entry control system that features a three-arm barrier that restricts access to a passageway. The turnstile consists of a sturdy frame with three arms that are evenly spaced apart, forming a triangular shape. The arms rotate in one direction and are controlled by an entry credential, such as a keycard or biometric scan. Once the credential is verified, the arms rotate, allowing authorized individuals to pass through the turnstile.

Tripod turnstiles are commonly used in areas that require controlled access with low to medium pedestrian traffic, such as amusement parks, museums, and libraries. They provide a cost-effective means of controlling access while ensuring security and preventing unauthorized entry.
