Description

The West Highland White Terrier is a medium-sized terrier from Scotland. They have a distinctive white harsh coat and a softer white undercoat. Other physical characteristics are deep-set, almond-shaped eyes, pointed ears, and muscular limbs. The paws are slightly turned out for better grip when climbing on rocky surfaces. The West Highland White Terriers’ behavior varies greatly, as some are friendly towards children, and other will prefer solitude. They have low tolerance for rough handling, but they are highly social. Most are independent, self-confident, and can make a good watch dog.
