Description
Description

As a working dog, the Yakutian Laika is more of an assistant as it is also a companion dog. It can also be used for herding reindeer, hunting, or as a sled dog. The multipurpose dog is native to Russia, all-rounded, possessing a wonderful vision, hearing, and sense of smell. The Yukatian Laika loves to work in groups. The dog has a double coat, with the undercoat being thick and downy and the topcoat long and coarse, usually white with patchings of any color, making it bicolor or tricolor. The dog is medium-sized, stocky, and compact and the abundant fur on the body gives it an impressive size. The ears are erect and triangular shaped while the fluffy tails curl over to its back.
