Description
Description

Zawadzki’s Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum zawadzkii) is a perennial flowering plant admired for its resilience and cheerful blooms. Its daisy-like flowers feature a bright yellow central disk surrounded by a single row of white to pale pink petals, sometimes flushed with lavender tones as they mature. The blossoms sit atop upright stems lined with deeply lobed green leaves, creating a balanced blend of texture and color.

Native to Eastern Europe and parts of Asia, it thrives in meadows, rocky slopes, and open grasslands, where it endures a wide range of climatic conditions. Sometimes referred to as Zawadzki’s daisy, it blooms from late summer into autumn, providing valuable nectar for pollinators during the season’s transition. Its adaptability, extended flowering period, and natural charm make it equally suited for wildflower gardens, cottage borders, and naturalized plantings. With its bright yet delicate appearance, Zawadzki’s Chrysanthemum adds both vitality and softness to perennial landscapes.
