Rock stars often perform as a rock group, but can also be solo artists. Although rock music can vary, it is usually a heavy sound, with catchy riffs and lyrics. Rock stars have a reputation for being wild. They trash their hotel rooms and throw televisions out of the window. A famous rock star is Mick Jagger, the frontman of The Rolling Stones. Mick Jagger once bought a million dollar mansion whilst high on LSD.
Rock and roll music is the genre of music that originated and evolved within the United States in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The music genre did not formally obtain its name until 1954. It is made up of the music style that is internationally known as rock.
Rock and roll was invented by Chuck Berry, who has been nicknamed the ‘Father of Rock and Roll’. He became a pioneer of rock and roll that helped refine and develop the rhythms that make rock and roll so distinctive and recognizable. Other pioneers of rock and roll are Little Richard, Fats Domino, and Jerry Lee Lewis.
The richest rock star in the world is Paul McCartney who gained mainstream media and popularity as a member of the rock band, The Beatles. Along with his solo work, he has achieved numerous successes and become the richest rock star. Paul McCartney has been a part of the music industry since the 1960s.
