Abby Wambach was an American female soccer player, not only full of awards and praises but also controversy besides once being found on the wrong side of the law with a DUI. Abby played forward position for the US Women’s national soccer team, Washington Freedom, Ajax America women, MagicJack, and Western New York Flash. She was known for diving headers, physical and direct play style, goalscoring abilities, and making passes with backheels and back headers. Abby is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, six-time US soccer Athlete of the Year, and FIFA Women’s World Cup champion. She also received a Silver Ball and Bronze Boot in the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
