Alex Trebek was born in Canada and is best known for his role as a television personality as a gameshow host for Jeopardy.  Alex Trebek got his start in broadcasting where he worked endlessly to become the best he could be which led him to his first hosting position for a show called 'Music Hop' in the early 1960s and went on to host a variety of different programs through the 60s. Trebek’s first game show debut was for The Wizard of Odds, which brought him to the United States, where he became a citizen in late 90s. Trebek has also guest starred shows such as How I Met Your Mother and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
