The Apple iPad (1st Gen) was released in 2010 in various global markets as a competitor to the netbooks and laptops. It had a touchscreen display, ability to access Wi-Fi and cellular networks, play games, access GPS navigation software, access references, and download apps for various activities such as those for social media networks. The only drawback is that it could not support Adobe Flash multimedia format.

The Apple iPad (1st Gen) has height of 9.56” (243 mm), width of 7.47” (190 mm), depth of .5” (13 mm), and weighs 1.6 lb (.73 kg). The screen size is 9.7” (246.4 mm) diagonal with a resolution of 1024 x 768 px at 132 ppi.
