Apple iPad Mini (1st Gen) - 2012

Set of dimensioned drawings of the Apple iPad Mini (1st Gen) measured with height, width, depth, and resolution

The Apple iPad Mini (1st Gen) was released in 2012 as a mini-tablet computer and fourth product in the iPad line of products featuring a small screen size, improved display resolutions, and inherited iPad 2 specification. Other than its small design and size, it also had other newer apps like iBook application or support epub format content and could also act as a hotspot. The major drawback is that it lacked retina display and expandable storage capabilities.

The Apple iPad Mini (1st Gen) has height of 7.87” (200 mm), width of 5.3” (134.8 mm), depth of .28” (7.2 mm), and weighs .69 lb (.31 kg). The screen size is 7.9” (200.7 mm) diagonal with a resolution of 1024 x 768 px at 163 ppi.
