The Apple iPad Mini (5th Gen) was released in 2019 as a successor of the iPad Mini 4, which was being discontinued. It inherited similar design and usage of the iPad Mini 4, but with the addition of upgraded retina display, True Tone display allowing the LCD change to ambient lighting, Bluetooth, and the ability to support first-generation Apple pencil. The product also had support for a lightning port and a headphone jack.

The Apple iPad Mini (5th Gen) has height of 8” (203.2 mm), width of 5.3” (134.8 mm), depth of .24” (6.1 mm), and weighs .68 lb (.308 kg). The screen size is 7.9” (200.7 mm) diagonal with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 px at 326 ppi.
