The iPhone XS Max, as well as the iPhone XS and iPhone XR, were announced on September 12, 2018. It was released to the public on September 21, 2018. The technology behind the iPhone XS Max is in accordance with Apple’s vision for the future as Apple's first plus-sized iPhone with a bezel-less design. The iPhone XS Max featured the largest iPhone screen ever displaying more than 3 million pixels, and had the longest battery life, lasting 1.5 hours more than the iPhone X. The Apple iPhone XS Max was discontinued on September 10, 2019.
