Set of dimensioned drawings of the Bevel Sofa

Conceived by architect Craig Bassam of BassamFellows in partnership with Herman Miller, the Bevel Sofa is the cornerstone piece of the 2014 Bevel Sofa Collection. The Bevel Sofa was designed to effortlessly complement the likes of classic modernist pieces such as the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman or the Noguchi Table and is available in 100% wool fabric or MCL all-grain leather upholstery. The Bevel Sofa has a kiln-dried, corner-blocked hardwood frame with foam seat cushions wrapped in a blend of feathers and down. The foam, polyester fiber-filled back cushions have a bevelled shape that provides lumbar support, giving this iconic, thoughtfully designed sofa its name.

The Bevel Sofa has an overall height of 28” (71 cm), length of 92” (7'8") (234 cm), and depth of 30” (76 cm). The Bevel Sofa has a seat height set at 17” (43 cm) and an arm height of 23” (58 cm).

Sofas, also known as couches or settees, are furniture pieces used for seating two or more people. Unlike benches, sofas are typically designed with upholstered cushions, seat backs, and armrests. Sofas are often the signature piece of a living room, lounge, lobby, office, hotel, or bar.
