Crosshatch Settee

The Crosshatch Settee is made up of hand-strung parachute cords, providing both transparency and shelter. Designed by EOOS, the Crosshatch Settee came about after testing ropes for a year. The result is a lightweight piece of furniture that comes in a variety of finishes and colors, seating up to two people.

The Crosshatch Settee has an overall height of 28.5” (72 cm), length of 62” (157 cm), and depth of 30.25” (77 cm). The seat height of the Crosshatch Settee is set at 14.75” (37 cm) with arm heights of 22.5” (57 cm).

A settee, with a smaller and more elegant profile than a sofa, is an upholstered type of seating meant for two to three individuals. With origins dating back to 17th century Europe, the settee originally resembled a chaise lounge chair before smaller arm rests were added on both sides.
