Argentina has produced outstanding soccer players, but none matches the level of success and theatrics of Diego Maradona. The former footballer is Argentina’s national football team head coach. Though he was small, Maradona was recognized for his dribbling skills, ball control, passing, and vision for the goal. He was nicknamed “The Golden Boy” for his precocious talent and free-kick stint beside his famous goal score dabbed “The hand of God”. Maradona played for Barcelona, Napoli, Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, Newell’s Old Boys, and Sevilla; mostly as a free role (attacking, midfielder, or second striker). Maradona has won seven league titles, the FIFA World cup, Artemio Franchi trophy besides FIFA Player of the 20th Century.
