A Field Hockey Goal is used to catch the Field Hockey Ball while playing Field Hockey. Field Hockey Goals are required to play and are each placed at both ends of the field. A Field Hockey Goal is rectangular in shape and is constructed from 2 upright posts that are joined at the top through a horizontal crossbar. It also has sideboards and a backboard. The crossbars are typically made of aluminum to be able to withstand different hits. Practice Field Hockey Goals are typically foldable and may have when or a rebound board.
