The Google Pixelbook is a laptop and tablet hybrid developed by Google. The Google Pixelbook was announced on October 4, 2017 and was released on October 30, 2017. The Google Pixelbook was planned as the next generation of Google laptops. Through the Google Pixelbook, Google wanted to change the laptop experience. The device combines the most helpful parts of a smartphone, a tablet, and a laptop to accommodate how society uses technology.

The device can be used like a tablet, and features a Google Assistant, Chrome OS, can launch Android apps, and instant tethering. It was the thinnest laptop ever at the time of its release, has an aluminum body, a 360-degree hinge, and can be used with the Pixel pen.
