Crafted in an aluminum chassis, the 12.8-inch laptop was released in 2013 as a premium Chromebook laptop from Google. Google created the Chromebook Pixel to rival Apple’s MacBook. Out of the book, the Chromebook displays a 2560x1700 Retina Display with Touchscreen that lights up with bright popping colors. Inside the frame, it comes with a Core-i5 processor, an integrated Intel HD graphics card, 4 GB of ram, and a solid-state drive for storage. The Chromebook Pixel aims towards consumers who only plan on web browsing and basic school and office work. Because it is a Chromebook, it only runs Google software so no additional programs can be installed unless they’re in the Google Store.

Google’s latest flagship, the Google Chromebook Pixel, virtually has the same design from the 1st generation Chromebook pixel. The bulky Chromebook now offers two USB-C connections which can power the device, connect to displays, and can connect to other devices. The speed of the laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and since it’s shown on a 400 nit, 2560 x 1700 high-resolution display, 239 PPI display, the experience is quick, snappy and brilliant. Still running Chrome OS, it only runs google software and applications.

The Google Pixelbook is a laptop and tablet hybrid developed by Google. The Google Pixelbook was announced on October 4, 2017 and was released on October 30, 2017. The Google Pixelbook was planned as the next generation of Google laptops. Through the Google Pixelbook, Google wanted to change the laptop experience. The device combines the most helpful parts of a smartphone, a tablet, and a laptop to accommodate how society uses technology.

The device can be used like a tablet, and features a Google Assistant, Chrome OS, can launch Android apps, and instant tethering. It was the thinnest laptop ever at the time of its release, has an aluminum body, a 360-degree hinge, and can be used with the Pixel pen.

The Google Pixel 2 was released in 2016 and the second generation of the Pixel now comes with strong processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, favoriting cameras: 12 megapixels in the rear and 8 megapixels in the front and a smaller 2700 mAh battery. Some other features that are new to the Pixel 2 is a squeeze function where squeezing the phone will activate Google Assistant. Also, Google Pixel 2 offers an OLED display, which means blacks are much darker and offer a more dynamic experience on screen. The one decision Google did take away from the Pixel 2 was its headphone jack, which was criticized by many.
