Hannah Teter is an American snowboarder known for being an Olympic champion and winning the gold medal in the Halfpipe event of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games. She began snowboarding at the age of 8 and her brothers, Abe and Elijah Teter, are also X Games competitors. Hannah Teter is distinguished by her charitable work as well as founding her own organization, Hannah’s Gold. She is also a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics. Hannah Teter has won 9 Winter X-Games, 1 World Championship, and 2 Olympic medals. In 2002, she became the first female snowboarder to land a 900 in competition.
