Hope Solo is a former American women’s soccer teams’ goalkeeper that many still have not forgiven for her criticism of the coach after their loss to Brazil in the 2013 FIFA Women’s World Cup. As a top female goalkeeper, Solo is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and World Cup champion. Other awards she has received in the international competition include the Bronze Ball award and the Golden Glove award.
