Lacrosse Ball

Measured illustration of a Lacrosse Ball dimensioned with overall diameter and circumference

The Lacrosse Ball is a significant component in the sport of Lacrosse used together with the lacrosse stick. It is usually solid rubber. Men use white lacrosse balls while women use yellow, though orange and lime green are also available. Every lacrosse ball must meet the NOCSAE lacrosse ball standard.

Besides, every lacrosse ball must have the words "Meets NOCSAE Standard" emblazoned on them. Interestingly, the lacrosse ball is not only used in lacrosse sport but also in gyms as massage balls to boost muscle performance, reduce fatigue, and lessen soreness.

Lacrosse is a team sport where players use a stick with a net to catch, scoop, and throw a ball into the opposing teams net. Played on a field roughly the same size as a soccer field, two opposing teams fight for a solid rubber ball and attempt to shoot it into the opposing teams net to score.
