Description
Description

The Miniature Schnauzer, easily identified by its expressive eyebrows and signature beard, is a stout, tough dog bred down from the Standard Schnauzer. The Schnauzer lineage has been a staple farm dog since at least the 15th century, and the Miniature Schnauzer was bred to be a more efficient ”rat-dog” due to its compact size. Technically a terrier breed, but with a wholly different personality, the Miniature Schnauzer is a friendly, obedient pet that makes for a wonderful family companion. The Miniature Schnauzer truly condenses the best features of the Schnauzer into a smaller package, creating a dog suitable for the fields or apartment living.
