The Nile Crocodile (Crocodylus Niloticus) is a large crocodile species native to the freshwater environments of Africa. They can be found in the Sub-Saharan African region typically in lakes, rivers, swamps, and marshlands. They are a very aggressive crocodile species and have the ability take on almost any animal within their range as they have a bite does not loosen. They typically eat fish, reptiles, birds, and mammals like zebras. They can eat up to half of its body weight when eating. The Nile crocodile has been known to attack humans. It has a lifespan of 45 years and not considered to be endangered.
