Description
Description

The Platner Stool is an elegant, mid-century modern piece known for its sculptural, wire-frame base. Designed by Warren Platner in 1962 for Knoll, it became an icon of 1960s furniture design. The stool’s unique shape features a cylindrical base made of curved steel rods that create a graceful, airy silhouette, topped with a cushioned, circular seat for comfort.

Platner’s vision was to blend modernism with a touch of luxury, which is evident in the stool’s combination of industrial materials and plush upholstery. Available in various fabric and metal finishes, the Platner Stool perfectly balances function, style, and timeless elegance.
