Ragdoll Cats are a large semi-longhair cat breed with soft silky coats and bright blue eyes. Earning the name ‘Ragdoll’ because of their habit of going limp when picked up, Ragdoll cats were once thought to be pain resistant because of their extreme docility and happy demeanor. Often characterized as being ‘dog-like’ because of their relaxed and trusting attitudes, Ragdolls are calm and affectionate lap cats.

The typical Ragdoll Cat has an overall height of 9.0”-11.0" (23-28 cm) and body length of 17.0”-21.0” (43-53 cm). An average Ragdoll Cat weighs between 8-20 lb (4-9 kg) and has a typical lifespan of 12-15 years.
