Saarinen Tulip Armless Chair

Drawings of the Saarinen Tulip Armless Chair with dimensions measured in elevation, front, back and plan

The Tulip Armless Chair is a fiberglass molded side chair that was designed to simplify chairs through the reduction of legs to a single swiveling base. Part of his Tulip Chair Collection in 1956, Eero Saarinen designed the Tulip Armless Chair to enhance the home with simple sculptural forms.

The Tulip Armless Chair has a back height of 32” (81.3 cm) and a seat height of 18.5” (47 cm). The chair is 20” (50.8 cm) wide by 21.5” (54.6 cm) deep with a cushion that comes in a variety of fabrics, vinyls, and leathers by request.
