Toyger Cat

Dimensioned side drawing of the Toyger Cat showing height and length
Description
Description

The Toyger, a cat that is a true, miniature replica of a Tiger, boasts a vivid orange coat with dark stripes and tabby spots. Friendly and playful, with a good spirit, the Toyger is a great companion cat for any family. The Toyger is also very intelligent, which makes her easy to train. The Toyger was created in the late 1980s when Judy Sugden was inspired by one of her own cats, Millwood Sharp Shooter, who had a few tabby spots on his temple, to create a domestic cat that resembled a tiger. After meticulous breeding of cats with the desired physical characteristics, the Toyger was finally perfected in 1993.
