Twitter Direct Message Card

Twitter Direct Message Cards are a dedicated advertising format used to directly begin a conversation with a user through their Direct Messages (DMs). Direct Message Cards can include call-to-action buttons and can be augmented with a brand’s customized chatbot that can facilitate basic customer support functions on behalf of the company.

Twitter Direct Message Cards have a height of 418 px and width of 800 px for an aspect ratio of 1.91:1. The Twitter Direct Message Card supports MP4, MOV, JPG, PNG, GIF (non-animated) formats with a maximum file size of 3 MB for images and recommended size of 30 MB for videos. Cards have a limit of 256 characters, as 24 characters are used for the card format.
