Brussels Griffon

Seated and standing side and front elevation drawings of the Brussels Griffon dog breed
Description
Description

The Brussels Griffon, a small, flat-faced, whiskered dog with human-like eyes, originated in Brussels, Belgium as a rat-chasing dog. Before being whisked into royalty by the queen of Belgium, the coach drivers who employed the dogs tested different crosses to result in the Brussels Griffon that exists today as mix between a Pug, English Toy Spaniel, and the Yorkshire Terrier. Though playful and energetic, the Brussels Griffon may not be the best for families with small children due to its miniature size and sensitive nature. The Brussels Griffon is a loyal companion and will stay close to his owner.
