Description
Description

The Canadian Goose (Branta canadensis) is a large goose that is native to North America. They have a blackhead/neck, brown body with large wings, and a white bottom. As goslings hatch, they are born in a light-yellow color and progress to their natural brown. The geese are herbivores, meaning they have a plant-based diet, but if they cannot find any grass, they will eat small fish. Canada Geese are vocal and social birds and even come up to humans to snatch food or quack at you. Canada Geese migrate often reach parts of Europe and Southern countries; such as Argentina, Chile, and the Falkland Islands.
