Description

Cornhole courts are most commonly placed on lawn surfaces with the two cornhole boards (platforms) placed 27’ (8.23 m) apart. Pitching boxes are located on both sides of the boards and designate the zones for players to throw from. At the front edge of the boards and pitching boxes is the foul line which players cannot pass when throwing their bean bags.

Regulation Cornhole distance between the two opposing boards is 27’ (8.23 m), resulting in the central board holes being spaced at 33’ (10.06 m) apart. Pitching boxes are sized at at 3’x4’ (91x122 cm) and are located on both sides of the 2’x4’ (61-122 cm) boards. The resulting entirety of the Regulation Cornhole court is 35'x8' (10.67 x 2.44 m) with an overall area of 280 ft2 (26 m2).
