Description

John Adams served as the 2nd President of the United States from 1797 until 1801 and was a statesman, attorney, diplomat, writer, and is one of the Founding Fathers. John Adams was part of the Federalist Party and was also the first Vice President, serving under George Washington. Before becoming president, he became a leader of the American Revolution. John Adams studied at Harvard and during the Revolutionary War served in France and Holland through diplomatic roles. John Adams became the first president to live in the White House. John Adams died on July 4, 1826 at the age of 90.
