Collection of drawings of the Series 7 Chair with dimensions shown on side, front, back, and plan elevations

The Series 7 Chair is a modern side chair formed around the ideal sitting shape of the human body. Designed by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen in 1955, the Series 7 Chair features a back and seat made from a single piece of plywood and shaped to provide the right amount of give and pressure to support your body.

The chair is stackable up to six chairs and is durable enough for commercial use. Options are available for treating the plywood surface with natural or lacquered veneers or fabric wraps.

The Series 7 Chair sits at 18.3” (46.5 cm) with a back that rises to 32.5” (82.6 cm). The seat is 20” (50.8 cm) by 20.5” (52 cm).
