Description
Description

The tokay gecko, known as one of the larger species of gecko,  inhabits the rainforests across southeast and east Asia. It can be found residing in trees, rock crevices, or even on the walls and ceilings of homes. The tokay gecko uses its coloration to camouflage itself within its environment, being able to lighten or darken its skin depending on the surroundings. The tokay gecko’s behavior can be defined as aggressive and territorial with a bite that can pierce through skin, which makes it a more difficult pet to own although common in the trade.
