Dimensioned drawings of the Generic C Chair measuring height, width and depth

Born out of a belief in “democratic design”—that is, offering quality pieces at an affordable price—the Generic C Chair was designed in 2016 by Philippe Starck for Kartell. Designed specifically for gathering spaces, such as in bars, restaurants, dining rooms and the like, this highly durable, stackable chair fairs well both indoors and outdoors.

The Generic C Chair is constructed out of polypropylene, giving way to its slender form and gentle curves without compromising its structural integrity. Available in black or white, this elegant, minimalist chair design would be an excellent choice for a variety of spaces, be it a home office, dining room, outdoor patio, or café.

The Generic C Chair has an overall height of 33” (84 cm), width of 20.5" (52 cm), and depth of 20.25” (51 cm). The seat height of the Generic C Chair is set at 18” (47 cm).
