The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, is a member of the Galaxy Tab Series of tablets as the successor to the Galaxy Tab S, as the second model in Samsung’s “ultra high end” series of tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2  was introduced on July 20th 2015.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was offered in two different screen sizes; a smaller 8 inch screen and a larger 9.7 inch screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is the last Samsung tablet to feature navigation buttons. At the time of its release, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was the world’s thinnest tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7” has a height of 9.34” (237.3 mm), width of 6.65” (169 mm), depth of .22" (5.6 mm), and weighs 13.72 oz (392 g). The screen size is 9.7” (246.4 mm) diagonal with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 px at 264 ppi.
