Samsung Galaxy Tablets

Samsung Galaxy Tablets are well thought out personal tablet devices for all types of casual, work, or academic consumers. Samsung has multiple variants of Galaxy Tablets; such as, Galaxy Tab S series, Galaxy Tab A series, Galaxy View series, and Galaxy Notebook. Samsung competes with Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Huawei to provide the best all-around tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tablets are made of aluminum versus glass for durability and are equipped with the latest processors and spec which vary depending on which Galaxy Tablet you look at. Samsung Galaxy Tablets are all paired with Samsung S Pen which boosts productivity on all tablets tremendously.

What are the differences between Samsung Galaxy tablets?

The differences between Samsung Galaxy tablets include their performance, range of features, as well as sizes. The Galaxy Tab A is Samsung’s budget line series that is less powerful. The Galaxy Tab S series is Samsung’s premium tablet brand that offers a high-performing system. The Galaxy Tab Active line of tablets can handle more wear and tear.

When did Samsung begin making tablets?

Samsung began making tablets in November of 2010, through the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The first line of tablets was first presented to the public on September 2, 2010. The Samsung Galaxy Tab was an Android mini-tablet computer with Wi-Fi capability, a 3.2 MP rear-facing camera, and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.

How long do Samsung tablets last?

Samsung tablets can last for at least 5 years, but can last much longer if they are taken care of properly. Samsung tablets can last much longer with the necessary updates to improve their performance and also with a case to protect against possible falls or scratches.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 (2018)

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9, also known by its codename “Crown” is a member of the Galaxy Note Series of “phablets” as the successor to the Galaxy Note 8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was introduced in August 2018 and ushered in Samsung’s come-back season for its Galaxy Note line.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 features a dual back camera system, new S pen capabilities with third party support, and a headphone jack for the last time, as its successor Galaxy Note 10 will not have one.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a height of 6.37” (161.9 mm), width of 3.01” (76.4 mm), depth of .35” (8.8 mm), and weighs 7.1 oz (201 g). The screen size is 6.4” (160 mm) diagonal with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 px at 516 ppi.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 (2016)

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 released in August 2016 as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, is the sixth generation of “phablets” in the Galaxy note series. Despite being the sixth device, Samsung named it Note 7 to prevent confusion about its release date relative to the Galaxy S7, which was released in the same year.

However, this phablet is truly notable for being a disaster. Due to a manufacturing defect, the batteries in the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 would overheat causing fires. After suspending sales and issuing an informal recall in September, Samsung discontinued production and recalled all devices in October 2016.
