Description
Description

The Yorkshire Pig is one of the most popular breeds of domestic pigs used primarily for farming purposes. Yorkshire Pigs are colored lightly pink, almost like a white pig from afar. They have slightly tapered faces and straight noses. Furthermore, their tails gently curl, giving the swine a nearly whimsical appearance.

Yorkshire Pigs are bred as big pigs, in order to produce both well-textured bacon and slimmer meat cuts. Because of their large size, they are not suitable for small fields, but they will be content if they have enough room to run around. The Yorkshire Pig needs a little more room than other pig types, but they make a natural choice for most farmers due to their good characteristics.
