Personal Printers
A printer is a product used to create a tangible document that was previously digital, or create a representational copy of an existing document. Most modern printers work by configuring a document into a grid of pixels, and then printing within that grid to recreate the image fed to it via a digital transfer or copy. Depending on the printer and manufacturer, the ability to copy or scan existing documents is a common feature. Most printers are considered an integral facet to workplace or office equipment, yet they can also be found in homes, schools, and other public places.
The most common type of personal printer is the Inkjet printer. The Inkjet printer works by spraying droplets of ink into paper. Inkjet printers are typically inexpensive home printers that can provide high-quality prints at a moment’s notice. Inkjet printers can also print on a large variety of print media.
Personal photo printers were specifically made to print on extremely white photo paper that is coated to keep the ink from smearing. Photo printers can support different sizes of photo paper, but some only support the standard photo print sizes. Photo printers can produce high-quality prints for photographers of all skill levels.
You can print without an internet connection by connecting to the printer through a USB connection or a wired network. By making sure you have the drivers for the printer and making sure the printer is accessible to the network you should be able to print without an internet connection.
