Series of dimensioned illustrations of the Refraction REV-1

The Refraction REV-1 is an autonomous delivery bot developed by Refraction AI, that focuses on picking up orders from a store and delivering them to the customer’s home. It was first launched in January of 2020 and debuted in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the United States.

The Refraction REV-1 program allows restaurants to reduce their carbon footprint and costs. The interior compartment of the Refraction Rev-1 holds 4 to 5 bags. It can travel up to a speed of 15 miles (24 km) per hour. Currently a bike escort follows the Refraction REV-1 to make sure it does not run into any problems or issues.

The Refraction REV-1 has an estimated total length of 54” (137 cm), estimated overall width of 30” (76.2 cm), and estimated height of 38” (96.5 cm). Refraction REV-1s weigh 80 lb (45 kg) and can carry an estimated payload of 280 lb (127 kg). The maximum movement speed of the Refraction REV-1 is 15 mph (24 km/h).
