Steinway Grand Piano - Model L

Set of dimensioned drawings of the Steinway Grand Piano Model L labeled with width and length in plan and elevation

The Steinway Grand Piano Model L is considered a baby grand piano, and some piano technicians often refer to it as the “smallest concert grand”. While the Model L may not be able to match the depth and volume of the B, C, or D models, many professional pianists choose this model for their home, or as a practice piano for the beautiful tone, volume, and touch.

The Steinway Grand Piano Model L has an overall width of 58” (148 cm) and length of 70.5” (179 cm). The overall floor area of the Steinway Grand Piano Model L is 23 ft2 (2.14 m2).
