IKEA Risör Room Divider

Set of elevation and plan drawings of the IKEA Risör Room Divider with dimensions for height and width

The IKEA Risör Room Divider is a screen that can be placed anywhere to divide a room or space into private areas. With a design inspired from traditional screens originating in Asia, the IKEA Risör Room Divider is made of different sized translucent squares to give it more of a distinct look rather than a plane acrylic lacquer. You cannot see through the room divider, but can see a soft and distorted shadow or outline of what's behind it.

The IKEA Risör Room Divider has an overall height of 72.875" (185 cm) and a width of 85" (216 cm).

A room divider is a semi-permanent partition that allows for a space to be split up in separate areas. While dividing screens and doors are often used in residential homes, large room dividers are more often used in venues where multiple activities may run concurrently and require separate spaces.
