The Mountain | Gregor Clegane

The Mountain is a character in The Song Of Ice And Fire novels by George R.R Martin, and later in the adapted television series, Game Of Thrones. Born Gregor Clegane, he is the brother of Sandor Clegane, known as The Hound. He is known for his size and strength, which gained him the name, The Mountain, which makes him an irreplaceable warrior for House Lannister, the ruling family of King’s Landing. He is a violent character in the series - he kills many people through sheer brutality and brute force. The Mountain dies in the film version by being thrown off the castle walls by his brother, who also dies with him.
